Is ceramic coating worth it?

It’s an investment that has dividends that don’t end. Your effectively adding a layer of glass on top of your vehicle, which means it’s not exposed to the elements, plus nothing sticks!

Your vehicle will look brand new when it’s time to sell, if your vehicle is well maintained.

How long does ceramic coating last?

Most coatings will be between 2 and 4 years of protection, but if the coating is not maintained it could reduce that timespan.

What is the downside to ceramic coating?

Price and how long the entire process takes. Everything involved in the prep and application of ceramic is expensive, and then add on the full day or 2 of work, it gets pricey.

How long does the process take?

With our usual 2 man team of detailers, we are usually able to finish a sedan’s paint correction and coating in about 14 hours, if it’s not black.

Then after we apply the ceramic, the car cannot get wet for 3 full days, or risk coating failure.

How do I wash my ceramic coated car?

Not through the car wash! After the paint is corrected to the point where you cannot see swirl marks or scratches, it’s highly recommended to have a professional detailer wash it so they can use proper washing methods to keep your beautiful finish. But a we have seen that hand car washes can be an OK option.

Also using correct washing soaps and quick detailers to ensure your not damaging the coating.

Why do you need paint correction before ceramic?

After ceramic is applied to your paint, it seals everything in. You cannot remove those imperfections unless you take off the ceramic coating, and if you care enough to put the best paint protection serum on the market on your vehicle, then you also care about how the paint looks.

What is detailing in interior?

Interior detailing is the process of cleaning every crack, crevasse and surface to reveal a brand new looking interior and overall give the inside of your car a reset!

Is an interior detail worth it?

If your looking at keeping your vehicles value up, yes. If your looking at peace of mind when being in your car, yes. What do you want your passengers to think?

How long does an inside car cleaning take?

Most of the time it takes us around 3-4 hours for a dirty sedan or SUV interior, but if your shampooing seats, carpets and it’s a bigger vehicle that time can change.

Do you shampoo cloth seats or carpets?

Yes! Both are extra options, since a lot of cars on the road don’t need either of these, but if you have stains, dirt or a weird smell its recommended. When scheduling with us you can add them as extra options in the “Extra Detail Options” section.

What does Clay Bar Waxing do?

Using a clay bar with a lubricant to lightly go over the paint back and forth to remove bonded contaminants like brake dust, industrial pollution and road grit from your clear coat. It’s a great practice to do so before applying any new layer of paint protection so that the protection bonds to the paint, not contaminants.

Now that your paint is smooth, thoroughly apply a wax or paint sealant to every piece of paint to protect your investment!

How long does this service take?

For your average sedan we usually take about 3 hours to complete the service. Obviously the bigger the vehicle, the longer the time.

Can you do scratch removal or water spot removal?

Yes, we do both quite frequently and if it’s able to be removed, we can do it. When scheduling just let us know in the “message” box!

What is included in a full detail?

On the exterior that will most likely include a wash, clay bar, wax or sealant, trim conditioner, and an interior detail. We include more than most, so to see our list click here.

Is a full detail worth it?

It’s an investment. We look at it more as something that needs to be done every 6 months to year in order to avoid issues down the road, like water spots, oxidation, staining or just a really dirty interior.

How long does a full detail take?

Can take up to 8 hours on an average SUV, if it really needs it, then a bit less for a sedan and a bit more for a truck.
